VISITOR BRIEFING

Gulf Province is last in line for tourism. Apart from the Lakekamu Basin there are no organised visitor attractions. The province’s annual tourism figures struggle to make double digits. The local guest houses are only kept open by visiting government officials and Coca Cola sales reps. This province is so far off the beaten tourist track that most of the locals have never even seen a tourist before.

And that, of course, is the reason you want to go, right? Step right up…
